tabs further enhance the aesthetics of your towed vehicle. When
you aren't towing, the tabs can be easily removed to
make your baseplate virtually unnoticeable to the casual observer.
Unlike competitors brackets, the Blue Ox removable tabs are
easily accessible, which means you don't have to crawl under
the vehicle to remove large, heavy bracket parts. When you're
ready to tow, the tabs are easily locked into place.
Unlike the hidden, integrated support system of
the Blue Ox base plates, the competitors' brackets have an exposed
cross support beam that protrudes from the bumper of the towed
vehicle. This added structure not only increases the weight
carried by your towed vehicle, but its pin-connected, out-front
design increases the hook-up time and exposes the base plate
